After a 2-0 victory over Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), Captain T1-Faker-shared some feelings about the dense schedule in recent years. At the same time, he also opened after the announcement of an additional 4 -year contract extension to the organization.

On the afternoon of August 2, T1 won 2-0 against HLE in the framework of LCK 2025. In this match, T1 overwhelmed the first game. In the second game, it seemed that HLE had the opportunity to overturn the game, but T1 took good advantage of the opponent's mistake to win the final. With this result, T1 became the only team in the Legend table to win all 4 matches.

After the match, Faker participated in the interview and answered questions from Korean reporters. When asked about the recent dense schedule, he shared:
"Currently, I have not completely adapted to the time zone difference, so my form is not really stable. However, I still have time to prepare for the game next week, and I will try my best to get the best preparation."

Although not yet the best condition, Faker still played impressively, especially in the past week at T1 HomeGround home yard. He said: "Playing at T1 HomeGround always feels special, because of the enthusiastic encouragement from the fans. That makes me feel the importance of each match and even more desire to win."

Not long ago, Faker also officially announced an additional 4 -year contract extension to T1. Under the new contract, he will play until 2029 - when he turned 33. Answering the question about whether he was trying to prove that his age was not an obstacle to a professional player, Faker shared:
"I don't think age is too big.

In the near future, Faker will continue playing with T1 in the 3-5 round of LCK 2025, with an important match against Gen.G on August 7. Currently, T1 is only 1 point above HLE on the rankings, and if they continue to extend the winning series, they can completely rise to second place, closer to the goal of winning the second round of the LCK 2025 play-off round.
